Ministry of Higher Education. 
Seoul National University (SNU) in Seoul are calling for applications from the eligible students for the SNU president fellowship scholarship to pursue PhD degrees in the fields of Engineering, Medicine, public Health, Agriculture, Development Studies, Korean Studies for the fall 2020. 
The online application of the scholarship would be opened from 09 to 26 March 2020.

ஆசிரியர் - அதிபர்கள் சேவையின் சம்பள முரண்பாடு தொடர்பில் எடுக்கப்பட்ட அமைச்சரவை தீர்மானத்தை இங்கு தருகிறோம். 

நீண்டகாலம் நிலவிவரும் ஆசிரியர்கள் அதிபர்கள் மற்றும் கல்வி துறையுடன் தொடர்புபட்ட அனைத்து தொழில் துறையினரின் சம்பளம் மற்றும் சேவை நிலை தொடர்பான பிரச்சினைகளை கவனத்தில் கொண்டு இலங்கை ஆசிரியர் சேவைக்கான அனைத்து சேவைகளையும் ஒன்றிணைத்து சம்பள மற்றும் சேவை யாப்பை வகுத்து பொருத்தமான சம்பள முறை ஒன்றை வகுப்பது அத்தியாவசியம் என்பது சௌபாக்கிய தொலைநோக்கு கொள்கை திட்டத்தில் சுட்டிக்காட்டப்பட்டுள்ளது. 
இதற்கு அமைவாக செயற்படும் பொருட்டு தற்பொழுது அமைச்சரவையினால் கொள்கை ரீதியில் தீர்மானம் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டிருந்த போதிலும், தற்பொழுது ஆசிரியர் அதிபர் சேவையில் உள்ள சம்பள முரண்பாட்டின் காரணமாக ஏற்பட்டுள்ள நிலைமை குறித்து கல்வி அமைச்சரினால் அமைச்சரவைக்கு விரிவான வகையில் விடயங்கள் முன்வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. அரச சேவையில் சம்பளம் தொடர்பில் மதிப்பீடுகளை மேற்கொண்டு நிலவும் முரண்பாடுகளை நீக்ககூடிய வகையில் புதிய சம்பள கொள்கை ஒன்றை வகுப்பதற்காக அதிமேதகு ஜனாதிபதி அவர்களினால் சமீபத்தில் தேசிய சம்பள ஆணைக்குழு ஒன்று ஸ்தாபிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. 
அத்தோடு இந்த ஆணைக்குழுவின் சிபாரிசுகளை பாராளுமன்றத்தில் சமர்ப்பிக்கப்படவுள்ள வரவுசெலவு திட்டத்தின் மூலம் நடைமுறைப்படுத்துவதற்கு அரசாங்கம் எதிர்பார்த்துள்ளது. இதற்கு அமைவாக இந்த ஆணைக்குழுவினால் சமர்ப்பிக்கப்பட்டுள்ள சிபாரிசின் மூலம் ஆசிரியர் - அதிபர் சேவையில் தற்பொழுது நிலவும் சம்பள முரண்பாடுகளை நீக்குவதற்கு நடவடிக்கை மேற்கொள்ளப்படவேண்டும் என்று அமைச்சரவையினால் தீர்மானிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
